Garanti Asset Management also serves in the privare fund establishment field.
”Private Funds” can be defined as funds whose participation certificates are allocated
to the person or institution determined beforehand.

 

For instance, in case of a situation where establishing a Private fund for a company,
participation certificates which represents fund amounts can only be sold to the partners of the company, manager, families of the managers and all the employees within the framework of the Initial Puplic Offering Comminiqué.

 

The establishement conditions and other arbitraments that private funds are liable to generally shows parallelism to the arbitraments of other funds.

 

In accordance with Capital Market Law, establisher is responsible for the management, representation and reservation of a fund which has no incorporated body in a way to protect the rights of the certificate owner. Fund will be managed by the manager determined by the establisher within the framework of an asset management agreement.

 

The limitation of Establishing Private Fund has been determined as 3.95 million TL for the year 2009.
